Hi there! My name is Mariah, and my husband, TJ, and I officially started Brothers Smilax LLC in February 2025. Born and raised in Wyoming, we are both animal lovers who enjoy the outdoors. We moved to East Texas for TJ's health after he suffered a life-changing accident that left him with severe chronic pain. Our business is the culmination of a lifelong love story and a shared dream of working together. We sell smilax vine to florists and artists, but our mission goes beyond that. We sought to build a company that would allow TJ to work while also providing a supportive and flexible environment for others. We hire individuals who have trouble finding work, including those on the autism spectrum, and we're committed to building a company that feels more like family than a corporation. We are ready to grow and are seeking partners who share our passion for making a positive impact in our community and bringing the natural beauty of wild smilax to every occasion!
